Privacy policyLimitationThis policy is limited to the information Management Centre Europe (MCE) collects from website users about themselves and others via the www.mce.be website. Although the website contains links to other websites, these are not part of this privacy policy. We recommend to familiarise yourself with the privacy policies these organisations publish on their websites. Use of information Whether you register for one of our open enrolment programmes, request access to MCE's online Knowledge Network or ask to be added to our mailing list, MCE will always ask you to complete a profile of yourself on the MCE website. MCE uses the contact details and interest areas you disclose on your profile to communicate with you as follows:
Knowledge Network access Once you attend your training programme you are considered an MCE Alumnus. This means you will automatically be registered as a user in MCE's Knowledge Network, giving you free lifelong access to MCE's knowledge resources and networking opportunities. You will automatically receive an email with your username and password to access the Knowledge Network. If you are an employee from a Corporate Member company (and you have not attended an MCE programme before) you can request free-of-charge and unlimited access to the Knowledge Network by registering as a new user. Check our Corporate Member directory to see if your company is registered as a Corporate Member. You will be asked to complete your profile when you first enter the Knowledge Network website. If you are not an Alumnus or employee from a Corporate Member company you can still create your profile. You will receive Knowledge Network email updates and programme information by post within the areas of your interest. You will, however, not have unlimited access to the Knowledge Network website. Changing your profile/Unsubscribing All information recorded on your profile is stored on the MCE database. Your profile is available for updates 24/7 on our website. If you wish to be permanently removed from our database, please send an email to: remove@mce.be. Confidentiality of contact information Only MCE can send messages to the email distribution list. MCE will never pass on your email address to third parties. MCE occasionally grants the right to suppliers of related business services and products to use the MCE distribution list to inform you via postal mail. You may opt-in/opt-out for this service on Your profile. Use of cookies MCE uses session cookies in order to recognise registered users of the Knowledge Network. This cookie is NOT stored on your hard disk but is only stored in the temporary memory of your PC. The cookie is automatically erased when you close your browser after leaving the website. In addition fixed cookies will be stored on your PC:
Security and server logs In order to guarantee maximum security of the information you share with us online MCE has invested substantially in server and firewall technologies. MCE does not use technology or software to make IP addresses from its server logs identifiable to individuals. Only statistical information is derived from these logs to analyse the quantitative usage of the website. Contact If you have any questions about this privacy statement, please contact Remco van der Beek, Senior e-Marketing Manager, rv@mce.be. |
