As a seasoned executive you know that to get your strategy implemented, you need to make sure the right projects get
done on time, on budget and on spec. Projects cannot simply be a nice-to have extra, but need to be integrated in your overall strategy, supported by the right structures, processes, tools and techniques.
When you consider that you are dealing with such high levels of complexity, it is perhaps no surprise that across the board, only 16% of projects are completed on time. If you can take anything off your plate, it’s an added bonus; so your first step is to look at your project portfolio and assess just how much each particular project is really adding to your strategy.
