Sustainability as a Major Source of Innovation: Eco-Innovation

Who is it for?
This workshop is for senior and top managers who are tasked with driving sustainability in their organization or unit and recognize they need to innovate to get there. They should be at a high enough level to drive innovation and sustainability across functions to achieve meaningful results.
What business issues will we address?
There is a tremendous opportunity to make a competitive leap and create value through sustainability and your organization has recognized this. But how are you going to transform into a “sustainable” company? You can play catch-up with your competitors but the biggest value will likely be rewarded to those who innovate fundamentally toward sustainability.
- How can you (re)start innovation in your organization, or in your part of the organization?
- How can you powerfully use outside knowledge and capability through open innovation?
- How can you ensure that you are creating and capturing value from eco-innovations?
What will I be able to do after participating?
As a result of participating in this workshop, you will be better able to:
- Know the key trends impacting businesses and pushing them toward sustainability
- Analyze opportunities and threats for your business
- Focus on customer value creation as the target for innovation
- Put in place an innovation process, despite fewer resources
- Use to your advantage an “open innovation” approach for more fundamental innovations as opposed to gradual improvements
- Enable and stimulate creativity in your people, despite “recession fatigue”
- Monitor the value and results impact of eco-innovation
