Executive Business Coaching

How do you go about it?

You begin by laying out your personal and organizational hopes and ambitions for the future and putting them into an action plan. Your coach then carries out a gap-analysis to see first what you think you’re missing in taking the next steps forward and second, what he or she believes you can add or subtract from your list. When this is done, the real work of coaching can begin.

We examine together the formal and the informal rules for success in your company – for example, if the last three department heads had a finance background; does that rule you out? Or in getting ahead, some managers mimic their bosses in certain ways yet cover up their own stronger leadership traits and send mixed signals – is that happening in your area?

Your executive coach can observe and provide feedback accordingly. With regular meetings, some in person and some by phone or web-based, you will be encouraged to see yourself as others see you, draw lessons from that experience and then consciously focus on the strengths that can push you to greater heights.
