Healthcare systems have major financial problems

OECD (Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development) countries spend around 10% of GDP on healthcare today, which is expected to rise to 16% by 2020. If things don’t change, countries will not be able to fund their healthcare needs by 2020. Financial arguments are becoming increasingly important… and pharmaceuticals are feeling the pressure more than ever.
