There’s a shortage of good managers
Nearly half the business executives interviewed by McKinsey admitted that they don’t have the right management talent on-board to meet the challenges they currently face.
A total of 1,317 executives, 80% from senior positions, admitted that they are short of well trained managers who are able to cope with the demands of their businesses today
and in the future. The challenge of moving quickly and dealing with regional and geographic diversity clearly preoccupies many of the executives surveyed. And 47% of those surveyed agree
that the number one global trend affecting their company is the competition for talent.
