Four strategy typesA company, or a particular division or activity of a company, has to formulate its strategy based on a clear Customer Value Proposition for a particular target market or segment. There are four generic strategy types:. Price . Product . Product Plus . Customer Specific Solutions Each of these strategy types involves different approaches to your go-to-market approach and different customer value propositions. The successful implementation of each Customer Value Proposition requires a different set of organizational behaviours and different leadership, management and functional competences.
