International Public Organisations

Today government departments, international agencies and organisations receive more and more demands for an increased level of services performance—and often, with fewer resources. They have specific needs and ways of working that need to be taken into account when managing performance. In order to meet these demands, agencies, organisations and international institutions need to focus on new types of deliverables and performance measurements. To deal with these specific needs, MCE is creating a series of workshops for senior civil servants and managers who are responsible for, or involved in, performance management in their organisations. Each workshop focuses on specific issues and helps participants develop new skills, ideas, insights, answers, processes and approaches for adapting to changes in legislation, international environment, provisioning of services and the expectations of governments and other stakeholders.

It is in this context that we will work on how those pressures impact public organisations and on the qualities and skills needed of today’s leaders in particular and public organisations in general.
